Theme Licenses Explained

We understand there might be some confusion around Highend theme licenses, so we’d like to help clarify how they work and what recent changes mean for you.

In the early days of MOJO Marketplace (and MOJO Themes), specifically during and before 2016, every theme purchase was a one-time payment that granted lifetime access to theme updates and premium features. We will fully honor those licenses. If you purchased the Highend theme before 2016, please reach out to us via the contact form on this page (Other Questions) with a proof of purchase, and we’ll issue you a new lifetime license key.

After 2016, MOJO Marketplace offered Highend theme licenses as annual subscriptions. This meant that as long as your subscription was active, you could access theme updates and support. This was never validated strictly on our end and allowed customers to use single-domain licenses on multiple websites, or to get theme updates and support even without an active subscription.

As MOJO Marketplace was sunset in November 2023, all active subscriptions were canceled and they have expired by now. Without an active license, you’ll lose access to the theme’s updates, support and demo library.

It was clearly mentioned on MOJO Marketplace that a one-year license provided access to updates and support during that time. Now, going forward, a valid license key will be required to access these features, which will include theme updates, premium plugins, and dedicated theme support. Please keep in mind that this change was announced a year ago on this support forum.

This change will allow us to dedicate more resources to the theme to provide faster support, theme improvements, new premium plugins and important security updates on time.

Your website will continue to work as—is without a license key, and it’s entirely legal to use the theme without one. However, without a valid key, you won’t receive future updates for the theme or bundled plugins, nor will you be able to import theme demos or install new premium bundled plugins.
