The footer section shows extra length below widgets

I am not sure if everyone else can see it on my page but generally speaking my regular website http://www.newdermeo.com has the widgets I have selected in my final footer section but those are followed by a lot of extra background before you get to my bottom menu. I can’t figure out how to get rid of it. It does not happen on my mobile full site though. Please advise.
