Textured background on page other than homepage

Hi there,

I have set a textured background (picture tiled) through Custom CSS with:

body
{
background:url(‘substitute-url-address-here’)repeat;
}

It works great for the homepage, but not for the Contact Us page or the portfolio page. Wondering is there a CSS class for these pages that maybe cancelling this Custom CS out? Adding a background color on the individual pages works fine, but I would like to tile this image for all website pages.
