Social Snap issue

Social snap is now the required social plug-in for highend. I see where it fixes a few previous issues but now it has created a new one for me. My hyperlink colors are making the share buttons very ugly when i want to use them on my page as opposed to a side bar option. I see that if I want to change colors that I need to now upgrade my social snap package? Is there an option around this? I do not like another up-sell. Please help!
