Slider fails to load on Mac firefox

When I try to load a Highend Theme website with a home page slider it makes Mac Firefox 48.0.2 fail, setting it into a non responding state. It happens on any Mac with Firefox and it even fails on your demo site. We purchased the theme with the understanding that it would work with any browser. Is there a fix for this issue.
