Single Post Template Options no showing

Currently the template options for a single blog post do not show up. I have checked all the View Options and there is no option to view the page template settings. I have checked previous blog posts and can see custom fields which suggest the template settings should be there but they’re not showing up. On Pages the template options are available, but not on Posts. Any ideas?
