Set custom width for responsive navigation

Hi, The website I’m developing requires seven menu items and some are fairly lengthy. At the moment, the menu drops down and overlaps the slider when the browser width is reduced to the point where the menu and logo meet. Could you provide instruction on changing the media query settings so I can enable the mobile menu at a wider point?
