Revolution Slider: Works if embedded in WPBakery, but not @ "featured section"

Hello,

The Revolution Slider seems to work when it is embedded within the backend of WPBakery, but it does not work if I choose it under “Featured Section Settings”

Right now, I have the slider embedded as a column in WPBakery AND disabled the “Featured Section”, but a large grey area appears where the slider would normally be.
