revolution slider layer background timing

Hi,
I’m using background color in a revolution slider text layer.
It’s defined through layer general parameters / layer contect / style / edit style / background.

The issue is the following: the background appears immediately on slide start and it’s not waiting for the layer animation start. It is not even waiting for the slider transition end..
So it’s prety ugly and disturbing.

How can I fix it?
