Revolution Slider & Jetpack's Photon

a few weeks ago, with the update of the Revolution slider plugin (and update of HB theme and WOrdpress all falling at the same time), many of us (meincluded) experienced problems with the Revolution SLiders not working properly.

The issue was solved for me with fixes and updates. However, to get the sliders working again, I had to disable the Photon feature of the Jetpack plugin.

I have tried again enabling it recently, but turning it on still causes the revolution slider not to work/load.

The problem is that I have noticed that having the Photon feature off has considerably slowed down my site with worrying increases in page loads.

Any idea where the isue lies and how to fix this would be more than welcome.
