Remove commas from Milestone Counter

So I’m attempting to use the milestone counter in a slightly different manner. Instead of using a number, I’m trying to use a year. It automatically assigns the comma once the number hits 1000. Is there a way to remove this from the counter so I can show years and not have the comma? Thanks
