registration plugin problems

I seem to have a problem with other plugins – I want to install a registration plugin however it doesn´t matter which plugin I use, I have tried many, I always have the same problem, I put in an event as a list on a page which works well but then when you click on the link to the description ( which is created automatically by the registration plugin) it comes up with a blank website page. I have come to the conclusion that it has something to do with the Aegaeus WP theme because it is always the same problem with whatever plugin I install. If you have any suggestions or ideas on how to correct this I would be extremely greatful. Or if you have a suggestion for a plugin which is known to work.
