Pre-footer is not deleted on page with woocommerce

Saw the other post but the solution is unclear. How exactly is it done? I added #pre-footer-area { display: none !important; } to woocommerce.css and it deletes it from everypage not just the woocommerce pages. Turning off the footer callout in the “pages” area doesnt seem to override it either, not to mention that the product category page isnt listed under pages anyway. Help?
