portfolio page formatting

I’m working on an artist’s website using your Highend theme and cannot find an adequate way of linking up the portfolio entries. There appears to be a glitch on the theme that does not allow me to use the portfolio layout of my choice on a second portfolio page. It allows one portfolio page and then flips out when I add in the second entry and some kind of default comes up, note without the WP nav bar. See attached screen shots.
Can you let me know how to add portfolio entries without the theme corrupting? I only need to create 5. Thanks.
