Parallax video does not allow text or columns/row editing

I’ve tried loading several videos onto the homepage with a parallax video. Everytime the video either would not show or if I did full height it appears but I am not able to add/edit any columns or the row and have to go to backend editor to remove it. I’d like to add a video that is not full height with a text box infront of it on my homepage. I have one video that worked that I believe is a default video but I have not been able to get any others to work, or if I change the video it no longer works with text on top of video.
