Opening Slider Pushed Behind Sidebar

I had this issue a few years ago after installing the template that has a sidebar menu on the home screen and the issue has just started occurring again (I am guessing after recent updates though I don’t know for certain).

Now my slider is pushed to the far left and partially hiding behind the left sidebar menu with a black gap on the right side of the screen. Someone from HB had to go in and do something with the coding to correct it a few years ago after it wasn’t easily solved here.

Has anyone else faced this or have ideas?
