Open Button In New tab shortcode Not Working

I am using Pretty Link to cloak links which uses 307 redirects. I have this same set up using Aegaeus, and it works fine. However in Highend when I use a pretty link in a button via the shortcode generator, it opens a new tab and then closes it – so essentially nothing happens.
