new side menu photography thumbnails and auto scroll

I have the side menu set up o a new site i am going to be doing. I set images at 1920 wide by 1080 and much of left side did not show. I set someat at 1500 and some at 1600 and left shows better but will only show all of image if i use transparent menu.
Also, i cannot see anywhere to set the nav thumbs on right side or the auto scroll and the nav buttons on bottom of images.
