Navigation Bar Icons

Hi,
Is it possible to add several social media icons to the navigation bar (not the top header)? I can add one by adding spaces as the “label name”. But when I try to add another it deletes the previous. I could keep them all if I gave each a label, but I only want the icon.

If this IS possible, how can I also:

2) Enlarge the navigation bar icons so they match the font size of the text on the navigation bar? They appear fixed in size and quite small.

3) Add a “spacer” in the navigation bar so that the text menu items and the icons menu items are separated a bit. Differentiating with a different background color for text items vs icons would be fantastic, but I’m sure this would entail a lot more work.
