Navegation left side bar in one page website

Hello,

I just created my one page website but I want to disable the navigation bar that appears on the left side because I dont like it and it’s not working! as you can see in the attached image it appears just like a white point on the left.

Second, I wanted to know how can I change the color of the font, because I already try it under appereance>Personalize>Color-Content.
