Multiple Questions

Hi, I am needing some basic help for a non tech girl like myself. I have a few questions that I cant seem to find help for and am hoping you can help me. I am using the HighEnd theme and have a designer helping me, but havent heard back from her in a while so I am needing to take the bull by the horns and get these things done so I can move forward! Here it goes and please speak basic as you can to me as I dont speak too much tech language just yet. Thanks in advance!

1. When I change the background color in the navigation bar, it also changes the entire color of the background by my logo which i do NOT want.

2. When going to mobile, the top header bar (which has the social media on it and i find necessary) disappears and wont show up at all. I would like it to show up on the mobile version please.

3. When clicking on the search bar on desktop version, the search bar turns white, which is ok, but then as you are typing you cant see any letters as you are typing at all. I would prefer it to be by turquoise color and have white letters show up as someone is typing. I would also like this to be the same on the ipad and mobile versions as well.

4. When on the mobile version, there is only the hamburger bun menu icon thing that shows and no menu bar at all. is there a way to at least put the word MENU itself next to the icon so its easier for people to understand?

5. Also, how do i change the fonts in the sidebars on my pages? what fonts are those listed at in the highend theme font settings area?

6. Is there a way to change the location of the author, date, read more bar that appears under the article and pic teaser? I would like the read more button to be right after the last few words.

7. Last question…is there a way to change the color of the box that is on my slider with the title and teaser in it? Presently the color of the box is black with white words on it. I would love for the box to be white with black letters and for the arrow buttons to be white with turquoise or turquoise with white.
