Menu question

I’m wondering if there is a way to create a menu item (from which the pull down menu appears) that is not linked to any specific page? I notice that it automatically links it to a specific page but I’d like to disable that so that there is no link on the menu item itself, but all the pages listed on the drop down are clickable.
