Link team member to wp user profile

Can I somehow link the a team member to a wp user profile or vice versa?
That I as a team member can write posts and beneath the post in the single post page in the “about the author” section you can have a link to the team member profile?
Or that the picture in the team member profile can be used as the wp user avatar?
