Issue with media gallery

I have updated to the latest version of Highend but the issue was occurring just prior to updating the theme and Visual Composer. I have tried to insert images and documents from the media gallery into the single image element in VC as well as using the text element to add media. Once the media gallery opens, it will not display any of the newest uploads and therefore I can’t make any necessary changes to the page.
