Image carousel mobile view scrolling in full width

Is there a way to make images responsive to scrolling when images are in a full width row in mobile view? When its not in full width row, there’s some space to the right and left side of the images area that respond to upward and downward scrolling. However when in full width column rows the side ares to the images are closed and the image is very sensitive to respond to any up and down scrolling motion by moving the image slide left and right instead of scrolling up and down the screen. When the image space covers the entire screen, the user can be stuck at the image with no option to scroll up or down. Full width column rows look great but if there’s not solution to the scrolling issue then I’ll have to settle with standard width. Thank you!
