Homepage Metadata & Can’t Change Color Scheme

(I am using a Highend Theme)

I can’t change the metadata of my homepage. Every time I send the URL on mobile, through an Instagram DM, it shows an article that I do not want popping up as the metadescription. Instagram is very big for my business and this is an emergency for my brand.

– I have changed the metadescription for the homepage, and even tried deleting the problem article entirely, but it does not register.

Another issue I am facing is that I am not allowed to change the color of my website. I can successfully change all the colors when I go to Customization–> appearance, but when I click Publish- it never updates. It’s still the same color scheme.
