Home page with recent posts and recent products

Hi,

we are still overwhelmed with all the great features and just can’t figure out how to set up the “home” page.

We would like to show the slider and them 3 to 5 of the latest posts and underneath 5 of the newest products of the shop (we didn’t set up the shop yet, but would like to know in advance).

The home page should have no sidebar but the navigation should have a link to the news page which will be the blog with sidebar.

We already created a new page and set it as the static start page and selected the revoulution slider in the featured area.

How do we integrate recent posts and latest products?
