Highend not compatiple with current WP version?

    I’ve been told that the Highend theme is not compatible with the latest WP version, I’ve downgraded, but I’m still getting “critical errors” when attempting to use widgets. Do you have a solution to this yet? I can’t finalize my website without widgets. Any documentation/tutorial videos that aren’t 7 years old?
