Highend Blog Options Excerpt Length not Activating…

    Hello.

    I’m using the Highend Simple Blog demo. For my Posts, I’ve activated an excerpt to appear globally for each Post on the Home Page through Highend Options > Blog > Excerpt Length (see screenshot attached).

    Unfortunately, this global setting for my Posts (as created using the WPBakery Page Builder) does not seem to be working as no text at all is showing, only the headline.

    Please advise.
