hide footer in just one page.

Hi! I’m looking for an option to just hide footer area completely in just on page. I tried to type this in CSS of that page #footer {display:none;} but it doesn’t seem to work. Could you please help me? Thanks.

(for example, with the photography home page- mine has the footer area showing but with the demo site, it’s completely hidden. How could i do that?)
