hide featured image on Portfolio-Simple template

Hi there, revisiting a previous issue I had where I wanted to hide the featured image on the Portfolio-Simple template.

This custom CSS originally did the trick
.standard-gallery-item { opacity: 1; }

Is there updated CSS i can use that will hide the featured image on the Portfolio-Simple template?
