Header Option question

I have my Header height at 80 and would like it to stay the same size as a sticky header. At the moment there is always a slight “jerk” or flicker when you start to scroll down the webpage as it switches from the regular header to the sticky header. Is there a way I can set it up so my header remains static on my pages so I don’t get the jerking or flickering as I scroll down? Thanks!
