Feature Image on home page different style than post page

Hello – I would like the featured image on my home, grid/masonry page, to have a different style than the one on the post page. For instance, on my home page, I put a border & shadow on the featured image – using the blog grid template – but when I click to go to a post, since I’m importing all my images from a previous website/host, they are not the right size for that featured image area and I don’t want a border/shadow around that area at the ‘featured image’ default sizing because it is framing the white space around the actual image.
