display portfolio categories on a portfolio item

Hello, I’m building out portfolio pages but I want to be able to have the categories they are included in tagged, which in my case, are states. I have a section in the post that says “Represented in” – and this is where the tagged categories/states should be listed as appropriate but I don’t know how to get these to show.
