Demo installation created two homepages

Hello, I purchased the HighEnd theme today through BlueHost, and I installed the “minimal” demo. It said it installed successfully. When I view the page, the homepage doesn’t have the demo layout, but if I specifically click “Home” in the top menu, then it changes to the demo layout. Did I do something wrong when I installed the demo?

Also, I don’t see any way to change the main image on the demo homepage. When I try to edit it in the page view or even with the with the WPBakery Page Builder, there’s no way to update the image or text to something different.
