Default Template not showing up

Hello,

I am having an issue with finding the default-template.php file if it exists. I downloaded the theme and installed all the example pages and editted on of the home pages that I liked the layout of. In the dashboard it says that the page uses the default template. I can’t find the default template when I look in filezilla or in the wp admin.

Let me know if I need to move over to a new page template or if there is a easier way to fix this
