Customize Blog Box

Hello, you replied to anabp in July 2019 that you can provide CSS to customize a Blog Box. Please let me know the CSS to change background color to #140300, excerpt text color to #dddd9f, and align left. Will the blog box take the size of whatever column I put it in if I say 1 per row? If not, how can I specify that?

Part 2 of question: I installed Advanced Excerpt in order to use formatted text in excerpts. The plug-in hooks on the_excerpt or you can call the_advanced_excerpt. It doesn’t look like my Essential Grid posts or the Blog Box are using the plug-in. So how would I tell these to? (I have serveral grids I use for various pages, and am trying to set up Blog Boxes on some pages.)
