Custom Social Link Icon

I have tried to change the custom social link icon which i am displaying in the footer of our website (http://theluxeco.com.au) from the chain icon to the envelope icon however the custom script (which i have added to the custom script section of the highend options) which i have found on the previous issues raised regarding this problem:

jQuery( ‘i.hb-moon-link-5’ ).removeClass( ‘hb-moon-link-5’ ).addClass( ‘hb-moon-envelop’ );

does nothing.

can you advise how i can amend this chain icon to display an envelop please.

also as this is an issue which seems to be raised on numerous occasions do you thin it would be worthwhile providing us with a custom icon option in the theme to save us having to use script?
