Custom Fields

Hi – Can anyone help me with this? I haven’t received any feedback yet.

I am trying to change hb_page_sidebar_name from Default to Sidebar 3 so I can have a different sidebar on the blog post page (not the blog page, but the page the post is on). When I change the name and click on the “update” button nothing happens. When I click on the “red” update button, the page appears to be updating. When I look to see if the change took it has gone back to the default sidebar. I saw where there was a discussion about custom fields and meta-data from about 4 months ago and expect that that would have been my issue, but my theme is updated so I did not try that fix.
