Color customizer

I can not change the background colors of the theme. Everything else changes instantly. I still have the warnings showing as requested to change. I just want to go with whit background for now and have the blog look right. I bought a different theme but i have to rebuild the site. For now i know i am using color customizer correctly because anything else i want to change works fine. again i sent you info sometime back to remove warnings, All color customizer problems started when warnings appeared.
