color customizer not saving colors

I have run color customizer several times trying to set colors. They view as i make them, but i have to save them quickly or they go back to something else. After setting content header text colors and all nav background colors etc. I keep ending up with nothing. Can not get rid of white header unless i use sppecial header, then i cannot get title and sub title to view. Not sure what i am missing in process.
