Child theme doesn’t recognize PHP files in different paths

I’ve been trying very hard to find information on the internet, but I’m not getting the help I deserve and I desperately need your help.

I created a child theme to overwrite the ‘template-parts.php’ located in the ‘functions’ folder, and I created a file with the same name in the same path, but no matter how I modify the code, it only imports the parent theme This only seems to happen to the .php files inside the folder, and it works fine for ‘functions.php’ and ‘header.php’ located in the child root folder I’m not sure how to fix it.
