I’m new to WordPress so maybe I am doing something wrong but the Cafe Demo is broken after I imported it into a network subfolder on my multisite.
1. The Splash page animation does not start on its own. The site just displays the background image. I discovered that clicking into the address bar of the browser will jumpstart the animation, but if I don’t click, then the background image just sits there, the animation never starts.
2. The button on the Splash page “Enter the Site” does not work. It’s destination link is an empty anchor “/cafe/#”. To enter the site I have to manually add to the URL in the address bar “/cafe/home” to send it to the Home page.
3. On the Home page, none of the section images appear, the contact form is not there, and some additional broken content.
In troubleshooting this performance, I have deleted this subfolder network site, re-added it, and re-imported the Cafe Demo. Same behavior after reinstallation.
I have also added another subfolder network site and imported the Presentation Demo. This one performs better, ie. There is no animation to fail, the menus across the top function as expected, it seems that all the images show up throughout the Demo. However, the Home page buttons are buggy like the Cafe Demo, they also link to an empty “#” anchor.
This behavior repeats across Chrome and Edge browsers.
I imagine the problems stem from being imported into a subfolder on a multisite, but I did not expect this behavior when I saw that the HighEnd theme was compatible with Multisites.
Please let me know what I can do to get the Cafe Demo working correctly and how I can get the landing page buttons to link to the correct pages.
Thanks for your help!
