Blog Templates Randomly Display Home Page Elements

Hello,

I am working on getting the blog page arranged. I’ve tried out all of the blog templates and this seems to occur somewhat at random.

When I go to preview the page, all of the home page elements will display with the blog piece at the very bottom (just above the footer).

I set a side bar and the side bar doesn’t even appear.
