Blog Template incorporate a header

Hello!! I’m new to using WordPress, and the coding that comes with it, but have a friend who is good at it. Right now he is tied up studying for exams and don’t want to bother him.
So I figured I’d ask these questions here to first see if it is possible and if so, how can I go about it.

1) I noticed that the Blog Grid page of the template provides a graphical header (see the first image) and was wondering if this could be incorporated on the Our Blog (page: blog) with this as well (see the second image)?
2) Is it also possible to modify the text within the graphic to include code to generate any of the following…
a) # of posts
b) author
c) # of views
d) # of likes
etc…
3) The same questions from #2 being applied to the Post with fancy header?
