Blog problems

Hello,

After I updated the theme, the blog settings which are still showing on the blog options are not actually working.

I do not want the date to display (and have it set that way, but the date is showing).

I want a little bit of text to show (and none is showing though I have it set to show some text).

And I have it set to have a “read more” button, but now that button is gone.

Please help!
