Blank Template: How to remove Space above first Section

I am trying to use a full width section, with picture background, columns and other shortcodes as the front page of my landing page. no menus- logos etc. There is a white bar above the section that I can’t seem to get rid of. if i choose rev slider it does…but i don’t want to use rev slider. attached is what i want to remove.
