After updating theme my menus change color

I updated my theme today. My menu is supposed to be transparent to allow the image from the slider to show. However, on desktop, sometimes they load transparent, sometimes they load white.

ANd they are loading white all the time on mobile and it looks like there is no menu options on the phone.

At least on desktop the text is dark so people can see where they are going.

How do I get them all to be transparent with light text!?

Please help!
