Aegaeus Flex Slider

I’ve recently installed the Aegaeus theme (www.ryanpergolamedia/pipeline) and I’m trying to use the Flex Slider to display some content. At this point, I’ve published three Flex Slides and a new Flex Slider (HomeSlider) in the Slider Manager of the Theme Options menu. Then on my front page I’ve used the short code

[flexslider name=”HomeSlider”]

and in the Template Settings portion of the Editor I’ve chosen HomeSlider from the Flex Slider drop down menu. Using the DOM inspector to view the page, I can see that the slider is there, but none of the images are showing.

When I edit the slides, there isn’t anything that shows what the current image attached to that slide is, only options to up upload another.

Additionally, in the documentation for the Slide Manager, there are two separate highlighted sections that instruct users to “Please read ‘How To‘ section in this document to learn how to create sliders and slides on pages.” However, the “How To” link refers to the information that I’m currently reading in that section. This is unhelpful.
