Add "Read More" button to blog grid excerpt

Hello,

As you can tell by my other posts, I’m working on customizing the blog grid appearance a little bit. How can I add a read more button to the blog grid template?

I’ve done this before on page-blog-small.php using the following code after the line, “the_excerpt();”. How might I apply this to the page-blog-grid.php file?

echo '' . __( 'Read more' , 'hbthemes' ) . '<span class="icon-chevron-right"></span>';
